Kari Samantha was an American artist, actress and vocalist (born on the 28th of April, 1967). Wuhrer began her career as she was just a teen. Her most well-known role is for her role as Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders, as well as as the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror-comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was born at Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble and worked as a pay clerk and German American Andrew Wuhrer. There are three siblings. As a teenager She performed in nightclubs and would sneak out of the house to sing. Kari was first introduced to acting in Wooster school at the age of thirteen, and went further to pursue a degree in drama at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under renowned Uta Hagen. Kari stepped into acting as aged a teenager. Her first television break was in 1987 on MTV's Remote Control.
