Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton, who was born in Locust Ridge Tenn. on January. 19. 1946 to a poor family with 12 kids later on, realized early that she could get away from suffering through her imaginative mind. She was writing songs before she could read or write. In the year she turned 8, she got her first electric guitar. She started singing at a Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. She recorded her first album within the same calendar year on Gold Band Records, a small independent label. At the age of 16, she made herself known to the community, but her ambition was bigger. In the exact day that she graduated the high school in 1964. Dumb Blonde (both 1967) as well as Something Fishy were among her first Monument Records chart-topping records. Porter Wagoner, a syndicated show on TV at the time was searching for a female singer for his program. Parton took the job in the year 1966. She was signed to RCA Records in 1968, and the Grand Ole Opry was founded in the year 1969. However she left Wagoner's show in 1974, as her own songs like Joshua Coat of Many Colors and Jolene were charting collaborations with them. Parton following the breakup of their relationship with Wagoner she wrote the song"I'll Always Be Loved" by You and had it reach No. Its first appearance at No. 1 was 1974.
