Sara Lynn Evans grew up on a farm in Missouri, the youngest of seven children. She was born in 1971. When she was five, music was a constant in Sara's life. Songwriter Harlan Howard heard Sara as she performed a sample of one of his songs Tiger By the Tail at County Q Studios and decided she was the perfect singer for his songs. The band was signed by RCA. Evans came out with Three Chords and the Truth in 1997. It received praise from reviewers for bringing back the traditional style of country music and appeared on numerous lists of top ten albums of the year. Unfortunately, the album didn't make it into the top 40 on The radio station. Lorraine Bracco.....................
