Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a well-known American after winning American Idol's debut season. It brought her to fame and earned her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings, and 'S Records. In the years since, she's released many studio albums, including three that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart, while her other albums barely missed the coveted spot. She's one of the biggest artists that have sprung from her participation in the American Idol series. In the course of her career it was evident that she experimented with different themes and styles of music. She often co-wrote songs with her husband in order to express her thoughts. She earned critical acclaim and a number of prestigious awards for her individuality as well as her singing talent. She has been awarded an award called the Grammy Award 3 times. Alongside her music professional career, she has been involved in television and film. In addition, she is the author of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and involved with many charitable organisations.
